The past few months in East Renfrewshire have been hectic  in terms of house purchasing/selling and this is borne out by statistics which have just been released by the UK House Price Index.

The average price of a property in Scotland in October 2016 was £143,131. This compares with the average price of a property in East Renfrewshire of £222,532 - an increase of 17% over the past year.

The figure for East Renfrewshire is higher than the UK average of £216,674.
